Funky Monks are quickly becoming the nation's top-recognized tribute to the Red Hot Chili Peppers.  With exposure all over the Midwest and spreading to the East coast, the band will be further stretching its boundaries as it takes on international shows in Mexico and Puerto Rico.

The accurate reproduction of the music of RHCP, combined with a dead-on match to Anthony's lead vocals, make Funky Monks second only to the real Chili Peppers themselves.  Funky Monks' first goal was to master all of the radio favorites, and the band now works to continuously expand the song catalog to include deeper-cut requests from the fans that come out to the shows.

Funky Monks was started in September 2003 by Jeff Genualdi (Jefflea).  He was soon joined by Ryan Machnica (Ryanthony).  After many gigs together, and going thru two other guitarists and two other drummers, the band chemistry was finally perfected when Mike Walker and Paul Guziec came aboard in Fall 2005.  Funky Monks have been one happy family ever since.  Click above to check out individual bios.
